Festival of Leicestershire and Rutland Archaeology 2017

Take part in the UK’s largest archaeology festival and help Bring Our Past to Life! The two-week long Festival, part of the Council of British Archaeology’s nationwide Festival of Archaeology 2017, once again proudly offers the biggest programme of events anywhere in the UK.
Between Saturday 15th and Sunday 30th July 80 events were held across Leicestershire and Rutland celebrating the rich and fascinating archaeological heritage of the two counties. The programme is packed with family friendly activities, guided walks, talks, displays and have-a-go events. There are displays, talks, family friendly events, have a go events and, of course, guided walks.
